Hello! I’m back from our trip, and we’ve finally sorted everything out with the office…yay! I’m also back to tell you about my newest thrifting adventure (which there will be less of for a while, I’m saving up for a camera)! So here we go:
1: A Lalaoopsy mini! She looks like this:
Her name is supposed to be Fairy Tulip, but I renamed her Minka Pip. She goes by Pip. She also came in her orange pea pod/peanut. She was only a dollar, so I was so happy!
2: Another Groovy Girl! She’s called Princess Ariana. I renamed her Daria Belle
That was all I got! And Happy Easter!
Hey! I’m blogging from my mom’s computer (my computer still isn’t working) which is really strange for me, LOL. Today I decided to do a March recap. So let’s get started!
First I’ll tell you about my favorite thing that happened in February: I met kaitlynrh1! She was so sweet, and it was really fun to talk about dolls together. It was awesome to meet you, kaitlynrh1, and I hope we can do it again!
Now to the actual things in March!
One of the really big things that happened was: My choir did our first show of the spring! It was a little nerve wracking, as with every show, but we survived! And I think we sang pretty well too.
Looking in the future, me and my mom, my brother, and my grandparents are going on a road trip together starting on the 27th. No posts from the 27th to the 31st, but I’ll have lots of pictures to share!
I’m still doing choir and loving it! Our choir director is amazing, as well as our pianist, and while it can be somewhat stressful at times, it is a lot of fun.
AND TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!! Can I get a YAY? It’s starting to warm up here, thank goodness.
Also, WE HIT 80 FOLLOWERS! Thank you all so much!
And I got a new doll at a thrift store! She’s Our Generation and her name is Soleil March Carver. She was originally a Belle doll. She has long blonde hair and green eyes. Her hair was quite a mess when I got her. A Restoration post with pictures is coming up.
And I think that’s all for now! Seeya!
Hi everybody! We’re moving my brother’s room and our office (where my computer is) and switching them, so in the process my computer won’t be working for a couple of days. No fun. Also, sorry I’ve been so absent! I have basically no excuse…I guess I have been feeling unhappy with AG and the whole permapanties/other crazy things thing. Y’know. And HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY! If you aren’t wearing green, well…. *pinches you* And I should have a doll St. Patrick’s day photostory up soon. BYE!
Here is my entry for BIBPC:
A cat wearing a hat…because…cats wearing hats.
Hello, darlings! Here’s my BIBPC picture for ADVENTURE!
It’s not the best quality, but I still love it!
Me, my brother, and my mom go to a festival each summer. There’s music, great food, people selling handmade things, and a lot of tie-dye. The place where people sell these handmade things is called “the handmade village”, and you can find amazing things there, from shirts to skateboards, clay gnomes and felted fairies to leather boots & bags. All in all, I love it there, and it means a lot to me to spend some time with family and friends. So, this fairy is from the handmade village. Her name is Lyla. One day I took her out for a little fairy expedition, and I thought this was too perfect for ADVENTURE!
Hello! Faking it Mostly is having an awesome giveaway here: https://fakingitmostly.com/2017/02/07/500-followers-giveaway/
Abby is a Disney Animator Tinkerbell doll! I found her at a Value Village for 4 dollars. I was super happy to find her! She wasn’t dressed, but her chubby face totally makes up for that! here’s a picture of her (not my picture):
She’s waaaay cuter in real life. Her blue eyes are gorgeous, and luckily I got her when her hair was still in its original hair band. She’s so cute with Kristoff! I love her!
Her full name is now Abigail (Abby) Frost Berry.
Also, on the same thrift trip as when I got her, I got three groovy girls: Ruby Mae, Cara, and Franci. Franci is adorable! And I forgot to introduce two Baby Stella dolls, made by Manhattan Toy, the same brand as the Groovy Girls. Their names are Zoe and Sebastian! Such cuties. I’ll share more soon. For my birthday I got a $20 gift certificate for our local bookstore, which has THE cutest baby & children’s toy section, along with some really great books. 🙂 It took a while to figure out what to choose, cause everything is too adorable! I ended up picking this little cutie:
She’s also made by Manhattan Toy. There is also a bear and a lion. Her little sleeper is fabulous! I named her Tacy Daffodil. I think that’s all! 😀
To Team Raccoon: I’m SO sorry I didn’t do categories 2 and 3! I meant to, and then never got to it…:(
Oops! Anyway, here’s my actual entry:
New dew! Ooh, I like that. Actually, I think it’s rain, not dew…oh well. Anyway, it’s new whatever it is.
Okey-dokey! Here are my thoughts on Gabriela:
She’s pretty! I liked Number 46, so I do like the doll herself, but I wish AG had been more creative. Then there’s the topic of her being a dancer. Not like I dislike dancers or anything, but there are a LOT of dancers in the GOTY line. I like the fact that she writes poems, but maybe instead of being a dancer and a poet, she could be a Jedi and a poet, huh? Just saying, we need a Jedi GOTY.
(I made the untitled design 3 thing on canva, but it’s being annoying. So click on the link to see the picture that was supposed to be inserted here)
I might end up getting her, to be honest. I might be a little disappointed in AG’s creativity in this case, but I do like Gabby.
You see, I’m torn. AG was very UN-creative in this case, but I REALLY want to encourage AG’s diversity. I want to encourage that a lot because it is very important to me that AG realises – hey, we need some diversity!
Then, they’re saying she’s the last GOTY.
How do I feel about this? I think this sums it up:
So, I might get her.
ALSO! I added the comments section to some of my pages so you can now comment on them. Sorry that didn’t happen sooner. Byeeee!
